Kendall F. Doten founded KFD Graphics in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic as a creative outlet to showcase her graphic design skills. She started working with clients as an independent contractor, offering services in social media management, logo design, and digital illustration. To expand her reach, Kendall began selling her designs on Etsy, allowing her to connect with a broader audience and grow her business.  

 

At the same time, Kendall gained valuable experience in event planning and coordination through her full-time role with the Davis Downtown Business Association. She successfully organized both small and large-scale events in downtown Davis, refining her skills in managing logistics and creating memorable experiences. Her partner, Tristan Tadano-Lonso, often pitched in—helping with event setup, cleanup, and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Tristan also gained experience working as a photo booth attendant for a local business, giving him insight into the industry and the technical side of event services.  

 

Combining their talents and shared passion for events, Kendall and Tristan launched KFD Graphics Photo Booth. This venture allows them to blend their expertise in graphic design, event coordination, marketing, and photo booth logistics to create customized, fun, and engaging experiences for their community.
